After I've imported photo's into lightroom - processed a few in 'develop' when I try to use the filmstrip to look at the first photo's imported the ones at the front (first imports) -the filmstrip sort of 'judders'. Using the sldining bar in filmstrip it refuses to move to the far right of the strip. The solution is to shut lightroom, restart, and it clears the problem.
Anyone else had this problem?

BTW - I'm only using 40-50 photo's in the filmstrip Robertr

so I don't thinl it's a memory issue. As it's only a laptop with an 'onboard' grapahics card I wondered if it's that. Drivers are all up to date.

Haven't seen it myself, or any references to similar problems.

I think we need more data. Is the problem reproducible? If so what steps lead up to the problem?

We had a similar problem discussed in another topic. The difference was that the filmstrip was rushing to the right up to the last image when we tryed to go left. Silly question but do you have enough images to make the filmstrip scrollable?

Yes & No - if you see what I mean

There certainly were enough images to make the filmstrip scrollable - and now no matter how hard I try I can't redproduce the effect! That's just I.T. for you I guess!
It didn't just happen once - but several times. If it had only happened once I wouldn't have bothered 'posting' the problem.
I'll keep trying - and as soon as I manage it I'll post again.
In spite of any minor niggles - lightroom is one of the best bit of software I've bought - it's great to sort out one photo and cross process. Cropping and straightening 'lights out mode' makes you wonder why nobody did it before. For photographers by photographers?

So, it is like the toothache disapearing as soon as you enter the dentist's office! ;)
