File Missing in Library?

Hi

I've imported some existing pictures from my harddrive to the library. I see the thumbnails in the filmstrip but when I doble-click any of those pictures I just imported, LR displays this message "The Filename IMG_xxx is missing or offline'.

I'm really confused as I just simply imported pics from an existing folder in the library..

Any clues?

This usually happens if you move, rename or delete a photo(s) outside of Lightroom using Windows/Mac methods, or the drive that the photo(s) live on is not connected, or the drive has a different letter than when you did the import.

Somehow the links were broken. You should see question marks in the upper
right hand corner in the thumbnail section. Click on it. Next is a window asking you - do you want to locate the missing file. Just find the file and click. that particular file and others associated with it will all re-link.
