Sometimes metadata isn´t updated in the file in Finder. I know how to update the file on separate files, but is there a way to check if there are files in the catalog that havn´t been updated ?

Use the Metadata browser in the Library Filter bar, with the Develop > Metadata Status column:

Note that in the last year or so, Metadata Status has been getting less reliable.

I´m not able to see the "Changes on disk" when I compare LRC and Finder - I know there havn´t been any changes in the file. How can I delete or update LRC with metadata from the file ?

Click on the icon you marked in the screenshot. It’s a button.

And don't expect it to work very well. It will update either the Disk version or the LrC version of the metadata but may not turn off the icon or keep it from coming back on in short order.

For many people the "metadata mismatch" icon on images is for the most part random with little or no relationship to any actual metadata change done by the user. I'm not saying that it is not based on some real data comparison I'm just saying that for some folks 'mismatches' cannot be attributed to any known change made by the user. I believe from forum posts that the comparison is on a "modified time stamp" comparison in the disk file vs. in LrC catalog and that time stamp is for the enitre metadata block of data (not each field seperatly). What is infuriating is that we have been largely unsucessful in figuring out what is causing one or the other of these time stamps to change when we have not done anything that we think should change it.
