Library module File cooud not be found after LR has upgraded the catalogue

Running Windows 11 on LR classic desktop v.14.0.1

When opening a previous catalogue this is automatically upgraded by LR to v13-3-3.lrcat. Thereafter the images will not open.

A search on your site pointed me to check preferences and ensure 'When starting open most recent catalogue' is checked.
This option is enabled but it makes no difference.

Any advice please?

In LrC v14 Adobe no longer renames the converted catalog automatically. The database structure for v14 will still use the old catalog name but the v13.x master catalog has been moved to a new sub folder in the folder where the master catalog resided and was converted. What was the complete name of your old master catalog? Have you used Windows Explorer to search for this catalog?

Uisng Windows explorer

C:\Users\peter\Images\Lightroom\Lightroom Catalog-v13-3-2_2024-12-05 1610.zip

Which it upgrades to C:\Users\peter\Images\Lightroom\Lightroom Catalog-v13-3-2.lrcat

And I can now see them all.

So although I can see them when I click on it says the file could not be found?

You are talking about ‘them’ and ‘the file’. From the title of this thread I conclude that you mean you can see the photos in your catalog, but when you try to edit a photo Lightroom says the file cannot be found. Read this: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-photos-missing-fix/
