i received this error when using develop mode when opening an file/image. i had just finished successfully editing one image (this was the second). i have been editing many images over the past few days after returning from a trip, without problems. i opened a second image and same error. i rebooted LRC with backup on closing. i encountered same issue. i quit LRC and rebooted my iMac, opened LRC again and same issue and now every file/image i open has same error.

Do you still have the original images on cards? can you take one, over-write one that's giving the error and try it?
