Just downloaded LR last week. I have tried several times to print from LR to my HP L758'. Each time, the print job gets "held up" in the que and then freezes all printing jobs attempted after the fact. It is assigned to the printer properly. If I "delete" or cancel the job in the print dialog box, it says that it is deleting, but it just sits there, frozen! I have to shut down my PC and my printer for at least 5 minutes to get the job to finally drop out. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this? I'm on Vista. I can print just fine from all other applications on my PC, including Corel, windows photoviewer, etc...

Welcome to the forums. This won't help much, but here's my thoughts.

In my experience that's very common with Windows and HP printers period. With all apps.

I experience it regularly with both my HP Laser and Inkjet printers, and has always been common for me in the past. I'm currently Vista 64. I don't associate it with a specific app.

I'd verify that I'm completely up to date on the drivers, and attempt to ensure they're valid with Vista and 64 bit, if that's what you're running. Again, with HP, not as easy as it might be.

To fix/clear/unclog the print spooler/queue without a complete reboot, you can halt the spooler service, and clear the print queue manually, and restart the spooler. Here's one fairly concise post on the topic, http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/how-to-forcefully-clear-all-jobs-from-a-print-queue/ , which is one result from a Google search for 'clear vista print queue'.
