More often that success, I get the message :

Why is the Firefly link failing repeatedly?

What were you trying to do? What menu command? You can access Firefly a number of ways on LR and PS but I've never encountered this message.

Why is the Firefly link failing repeatedly?

I was doing a super resolution photo from the web. It generated the image but there were no download arrow in a square. I tried few times . No joy. The following day generated again and this time there was the arrow to download the picture.
Just close it and restart. It might work. I read similar in the internet that firefly has some intermittent issues.
I didn’t get any popup to warn me.

You can use firefly from Abobe website. I don’t have PS so I use the web version access to get super resolution images for large scale printing etc. I was trying to overcome the limitations in printing full size images from Slideshow module. As you know slideshow module is ok for HD viewing on a computer screen. I was downloading them as jpeg and using firefly to increase the resolution to get a better print. These prints even at A4 produce better photos than generated from slideshow.

In the Develop Module, Select any of the three options from the Context menu.

Yes, This issues was entered in the "Photoshop and External Editors" forum.

There is no option to do from slideshow module. I generated photos with Titles and other metadata displayed on edges of the photo.
Regardless of how you access the firefly, there is some intermittent problems with creating link from it to download the resulting photos.

Then I have used these menu commands (especially Generate Video) quite a lot and I've never seen that message. Have those commands ever worked for you?

I don’t shoot video so haven’t tried it. For photos it works intermittently.

Swingman mentioned using Firefly from the Website. When I tried that my filetypes (DNG & TIF) were non-sectable This led me to research acceptable file types
Adobe Firefly supports standard image formats for uploads, including JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (static), and HEIC. For downloading or generating new content, Firefly natively outputs files in JPG and PNG formats.

So based upon that limitation I tried opening an HEIC file and then a JPG from the Context menu and got the same error message
