Exporting Really Slow

Hi all,


Im running LR 1.4, I dont know what happend.. I shoot in RAW and exporting them toJPEG.. Lately when I exporting it take near 2.5min for one pics...I defrag, removed all temp files,etc and still the same.

I have AMD 2.5GHZ cpu and with 3gig of ram...My D drive(pics only) has 5'gig left out of 2''gig. I did optimized the LR, but still the same..
Anyone have know why soo slow? Or I only have 3''' pics in one catalogue..can this be the culprit?

This is sounding really odd Ken, but welcome to the forum!

3''' pics in a catalog is a small catalog, so I wouldn't worry about that.

There are a few standard troubleshooting steps you could try for a start: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/community/showthread.php?t=1645

I'd certainly be looking at trashing the preferences, and possibly testing a brand new catalog to see if it's a catalog issue. Also, update to 1.4.1 - fixed a few bugs in the withdrawn 1.4 release.
