Exporting a stand alone gallery

I have a great set of images
I want to try and get out to publishers and I would perfer not to send a email
With a on of attachments. I don't have a web site I can work on easly to up load the gallery to and just send the link. So my question is this. Is there a way using the web section to export a self contained galley that can send as an attachment on an email?

Not really in Web module but for single file portfolio, you may try to export a PDF slideshow...

I think Denis offers a good solution for your problem.

You can export a complete web document from Lr's Web module. The problem is that a functioning web gallery is not a single file, but contains several folders and numerous files to make every thing work. I just exported a simple 3 image gallery, and its package contains 11 folders and 2' files.

Obviously to attach this to an email, you'd have to zip the package, or some similar process. That will lead to problems downstream, depending upon the sophistication of your intended audience. (I'm sure this is what Denis meant by 'Not Really'). You can do it, but it's not pretty.

If the PDF slideshow doesn't meet your needs, have you considered one of the hosting sites such as Flickr, SmugMug or Zenfolio?
