Exported Pics Turning Green

Hi. New to LR. I put pics through the "Development" steps to my liking, then export the pic to a new folder. But when I view or print that new pic, it comes out with a slight green tint instead of the color corrected version I created in LR.

Any help as to what I am doing wrong?

What tool are you using to view the exported files? Is it color-managed? What color space are you exporting in?

Okay, your question prompted me to extend my test. A couple of JPG programs I use including View Print (which has always been reliable) are showing the odd color tones. However, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop CS2, and Adobe Image Ready are displaying the file correctly. I import into these with the imbedded color file, so that must be it, ViewPrint must be adjusting its own color management to the file.

The odd thing is I uploaded these files to Costco for a bulk print. I always get good stuff from Costco. But EVERY picture came out that same odd off green. So, maybe there is a color management setting with that upload function too.

This looks like an internal color management issue I've got to figure out here. Any other comments are welcome because I'm a bit "green" in that area!

What color space are you exporting with??
Sounds like you are exporting in a different color space from what the other programmes use - try exporting in sRGB.

I figured it out. I learned I can set the color profiles within LR and Photoshop and now everything is set to sRGB. My favorite jpg viewer likes this color profile too and views the pictures correctly (or at least the same color tones as the other programs.) So I'm happy now!

Now I have to learn how to color manage the monitor with Photoshop and my Epson Printer which is printing different tones than my display monitor.
