Export to JPEG preset not supported in Vista 64-Bit

Export Presets in Vista 64-Bit does not have ‘Export to Full-Size JPEG’. But has the other 2:
Export to DNG
Export to Email

Does Export to DNG, and picking JPEG, sRGB, size 1''; accomplish the same as ‘Export to Full-Size JPEG’ that is unfortunately not supported in Vista 64-Bit? Does export to DNG ensure that both LR2 and Photoshop edits are post processed in the JPEG?

As background: I’m running LR2 on AMD Athlon X2 42''+ running Vista Ultimate – 64-bit. I shoot JPEG on Nikon D2X. Import to LR2 and edit (TIFF) in LR2 and Photoshop Elements. When back in LR2, need to export TIFFs to JPEG with highest resolution for lab.

I have Vista 64, I had to create a new export pre-set that exported to JPG.

Hi Paige,

Thanks for your help. I wanted to use the LR Export to JPEG preset as a guide.

But you confirmed I need to create a new user preset to export to jpeg. Thanks.

Let me turn the question around ... are there particular options that you have questions about?

First, you want to crop the photo to have the proper 11x14 aspect ratio. Upon export, you do not want to resize the photo, you want a high jpq quality level, might as well go for 1''. After that, since I do little printing at 11x14, someone else would have to advise you.

I did as you suggested and get a small (4''k) file as my output. It is not near big enough to print 11x14. I expect a file size of 2 to 3 mb.
