In Library mode > Export with Settings:

- Resize to fit: Width & Height
- W: 1366 & H 768 pixels
- Don't enlarge: Not selected

This should export any image at 1366 & H 768 pixels?

Lightroom however exports at 1152 x 768 pixels with the above settings...

What am I missing?

Thanks for your advice.

Put the same larger pixel dimension in both boxes. They are 'constrain to' boxes. not set size boxes. THe way you have it set protrait and landscape images are handled differently . One will get it right and the other will be cut.

You'll also need to make sure that your image is cropped to the same aspect ratio as the output settings that you want.
However if you set the pixel size in "long edge" you will end up with files in the ratio that you cropped with.

That's true, but 1366x768 is a 1.78:1 ratio. Fanie's pics are in a 1.5:1 ratio. If they are exported with the width and height constrained to 1366, then the dimensions of the exported files will be 1366x911 not 1366x768(if I've done the math correctly).

The maths may be correct I haven't checked. We said though to just "resize to fit" - "long edge" which will scale the smaller side proportionately i.e. 1.78:1 or 1.5:1, whatever you have it as. You don't need to set both width and height.
Hope that makes it a little clearer!!;);):lol:

It's not unclear to me. Fanie is trying to make 1366x768 out of pictures that have a 1.5:1 aspect ratio. The pics will have to be cropped to achieve that. That is what I meant in my first reply. I don't know why the pics need to be 1366x768, but that's not my business. I was just responding to question as it was asked.

That your original size and the output size are not the same ratios. So ther will be a sizing done to the closest size without cropping.
