Is there a way to export the develop history? I am preparing a short presentation for my camera club to show my editing flow.
I realise that I could take multiple screengrabs, but when creating a mask, or healing sensor spots there can be a whole panel of "add heal" or "update brush" steps which aren't really helping tell the story.
Ideally the export should include the chosen slider value as well, perhaps in a format that could be read by excel to aid filtering the multiple step instances.
Not asking for a lot - is it? :D
I'm assuming that it is all there in the catalogue database otherwise lightroom wouldn't be able to step through the adjustments.
I've searched in the Forum and looked on John R Ellis website to no avail :(

Not that I know of

I had same problem with presentations to my Camera Club. My solution was to do it live (Since COVID our presentations or through Zoom) and record the meeting.

Apparently it is. However, if you or a friend has any coding skills and can decipher the layout of the SQLIITE database that is the Catalog - I'm sure a program could be developed to produce the results you want. like you said, all the data is there. I'm assuming that it is all there in the catalogue database otherwise lightroom wouldn't be able to step through the adjustments.

The Any Filter plugin's Sort command will export the history steps to a CSV text file. You'd need to do a couple of extra editing steps to put it in a more amenable format, though. Send me a private message if you're interested in the details.
