Export Export as catalogue doesn't work after update

Hey everyone,
I’ve installed Monterey and the latest LrC some days ago and everything worked just fine. But I can’t export a folder as catalogue. After right click on the selected folder I choose export as catalogue, but nothing happens. I do not get any error message.
Has anyone had the same experience and knows how to fix this?

No, the folder is there, available and not empty.

Let's ignore folders for a minute - what happens if you select a single photo and go to File menu > Export As Catalog? And where are you exporting it to? I'm wondering about some kind of permissions issue on Monterey.

Tried that now. The same thing happens: nothing. I do not even get any error message or any other alert. Just nothing. So I do not reach the step where I can select where I want to export it to.
