Exif missing on Edit in PS

Hi!

I got a similar problem.

I can view the exif/metadata in LR with files from both my 5D and 4'D, but upon open the files in PS, i dont see any exif at all from the 4'D, only from the 5D.

Its kind of annoying cause i need the exif for a another program called PTGui and therefore have to enter manually lens etc as a result of that.

Chris, what OS, software versions, etc.? Are you using the 'Edit in PS...' function, or exporting the files first?

Hi!

OSX 1'.5.6 2.4 - 4GB

LR 1.4 on imac, and 2.' on mackbook.

Im importing the pics through LR always, but when clicking File info in PS CS3 all the exif data are blank form the 4'D files, but not from my 5D files...

Are there any settings in LR i need to be aware that causes this?

EDIT:

Just found out that the exif disappears after exporting the imported from LR to a new map on both cameras...
Cant find any logically settings for it in LR.

1) new map? I don't recognize that term.
2) filetypes?
3) How does the photo get from Lr to CS3?

The first place to look is the 'Minimize metadata on export' setting in the Export Dialog. I presumed that wasn't the problem because one camera was unaffected, but now that both show the problem ..... (I'm not sure if you said anything about this in the earlier thread)
