EXIF information

Hi

There appears to be little consistancy with my exif info, some occasions it is there and others not, is there way of ensuring that EXIF information is viewable? Is there something I am missing on the import stage? Or export or any other stage?? Any help appreciated..

Hi,

to follow on from my post, I have found when I put an image into CS3 it loses it's EXIF. The EXIF is still present when I export from LR, I normally resize my images in CS3 for the web, can I do this in LR, prior to exporting, in CS3 it's called "image resizing"??

Dave - if you Save for Web within Photoshop it strips out all the EXIF data from the image - to save on file size.

And to answer your question, you can't resize in Lightroom "prior to export", because Lightroom is non-destructive. You can do it at export time. Is there some reason this isn't sufficient for you?
