When I edit an image in Photoshop CS3 from the Develop module, the "filename-Edit.tif" file which was created by Lightroom opens in Photoshop opens and I make the edits. I then try to save the file, expecting it to be put back in Lightroom 2.' with the changes applied to the original . However what I get is an error dialogue "Could not save filename-Edit.tif because the file is already in use or was left open".

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong and how to correct this:?: This was also happening in Lightroom 1.4.1 before I upgraded to 2.' today.

i am experiencing the same issue in lr2.3 when editing in pse6 (i am running osx1'.5.6) it only started yesterday which leads me to believe may have a fat finger issue....

incidentally, despite not running pse4 for a long time, it being deleted from my drive lr still notes this as my default external editor - anyone know how i can remove?

Richard, try deleting the PSE4 preferences files to remove that as external editor.
