Error.. Catalog .. plz help

Hi All

I've been having this problem 4ever..whenever i try to open lightroom

this confirmation appears

There's something wrong with that catalog, or there's a LR version difference somewhere, or it's on a read-only drive, or something along those lines.

Which version of Lightroom are you using? If it's not 1.4.1, I'd update before we do anything else.

Hmm it is 1.4.1 ... and it not read-only

Sounds like the catalog may be corrupted then, or from the 2.' beta perhaps? What happens if you start a new catalog?

Hmmm i dunno how to start a new catalog :cheesy:

Hold down cmd/ctrl as you double-click and start LR. This will bring up a dialog allowing you to choose an alternate catalog, or to 'Create New Catalog'.

Or press that 'Choose a Different Catalog' button in that screenshot you posted and you'll get to the same dialog.
