Could anyone give me the print profile and settings that you are using in LR 2 accomplish descent prints.Thx TESS

Tesst, welcome, now to help us help you could you please take a moment to fill in your signature in the "userCP' that is found in the nav-bar at the top left of the page - thanks.
The answer will depend on your OS....

Printing from Lightroom is not something I have found too successful.
My own printer, as you will see from the information in my signature, is a Canon and after much trial and tribulation, I have retreated to printing via the Canon software rather than the Lightroom module. Even the Ilford paper I have in stock prints better as a glossy paper in the Canon software than using the Ilford ICC profiles from Lightroom's module.
Ultimately, Canon's suggestion of using Canon paper and Canon software with the Canon printer, whilst a bit of a monopoly, seems for me to be the best solution.
I am however, still very much the novice here, but I do know that there is lots of support and help from other posters.
What they will need is a little more information better to be able to help. Details of your kit within your signature can help tremendously, as each individual printer, Canon. Brother, HP and indeed your Epson and the consumables you are using will have its own idiosyncracies.

Hi Tesst,

I print to an epson 788' from lr. Make sure the print setting are not being applied by both lr and the printer. Turn on color managed by printer in lr and check the printer settings. If you use the advanced printer settings, you can tweak to match your calibrated display.
