Welcome to Lightroom forums Wayne.
I am a Canon guy but what I say applies to all new 'larger format' printers: Print small test prints until you are sure the file looks like you want it. Then put in the big paper.
The Epson guys and gals should be along with some specific recommendations shortly.

I received mine a couple weeks ago and other than a problem trying to print a series of 8x10s on 10" roll paper, I absolutely love it! The colour is amazing, quiet, fast and very impressive to clients. BTW, I got the 8x10s printing perfectly.
