I have been scanning m y old slides and using the enhance filter for cropping because of large
size have been significantly reducing size. My interest is in other persons experiences in printing
these images.

Do I understand you correctly, You are applying super resolution to scanned slides, yet the resulting file sizes are smaller? Can you post some actual numbers.

What scanner do you use? Which software.

After apply enhance filter my images are extremely large 400 to 600 mag bites and need to be reduced to 150 to 300 meg bites for printing. Before printing like know impact this has on quality of print - other persons experiences in printing after apply super reolution
