Hi everyone,
Only now spotted the introductions here. So thought, I'd quickly join in. I'm glad I found this site and I have to say it seems one of the most organized places I know on the whole web. I do a little bit of photography in my spare time and have moved away from iPhoto, particularly as I am concentrating on tuning RAW images these days. My hope is that once a Noise Ninja (or similar noise reduction) plug-in will be available for the then fully fledged plug-in API of LR my whole workflow can be inside LR.
I hope to be able to offer help at some point myself but these days I guess it'll be me meandering about around the 'receiving end'.
For the time being I shall be found on my way through the world of LR in slow motion, the trusty 15" TiBook blazing away at one whole whopping GHz and ploughing through its solitary GB of RAM like the proverbial warm knife through butter...
There is something else I should mention: I have kind of an obsession with ISO 32'' and low light photography. Or otherwise go straight for smooth ISO 1''. But who needs the middle ground anyway, aye?
Cheers for now,
Joerg
