Elements 7 & Smart Objects

I have recently upgraded to LR2 without any major problems. I am using Elements 6 and when opening/editing files from LR2 as a Smart Object, Merge to Panorama, HDR & Open as Layers is greyed out and disabled. I was wondering if these features might be enabled in the new Elements 7.

I use a PC with Vista.

I use Elements 5 and it does not support smart objects. But to find out more you can try photoshopelementsusers.com There is a forum there and VERY knowledgable people about all things elements.
