Edits in photoshop cs4

Hi

I am just getting into lightroom. I have a problem in that when I have gone to edit in cs4 and save as psd, the image and original end up at the end of the film strip, instead of their original position. Is the anything I can do to rectify this apart from me having to manually resort ?

The order in the filmstrip depends on the sort order for that folder in the grid view. After import I use capture time to rename the files in the correct order, after that I use filename. This way the CS4 edits (and others) appear all together with the original files.

I'm having a similar problem, but instead of the photos ending up and the end of the filmstrip, they are not coming back into LR2 at all. Please make answer simple because this is all very new to me.

Clandholm, welcome. It's important, that when you're finished in CSx, that you 'Save' the image, rather than 'Save As', which will put the file in a location that Lr doesn't know about.

If that's not it, perhaps give us a bit more detail about what's happening.
