Editing the html files LightRoom exports

The demo of LR got me so enamoured with it that I've purchased it and can't
wait to plug in the serial number so I'm not waiting for the clock to shut me
out. But anyways, I'm trying to edit the html files that LR generates out of the
web module, basically I want to high lite a cell in the html gallery with a color
as a flagged picture since the library module flagging doesn't carry over to
the web module ( feature request ? ) and add a comment underneath the
thumbnail. I've read Sean McCormacks blogs and tutorials and I'd rather not
muck with anything that's unsupported.

GoLive 8 (CS2) doesn't like the html files, the thumbnails are all truncated
into a 1/3ish vertical strip and messing around with the file eventually causes
GL to go poof, pretty much the same with Dreamweaver 8.

So is there a way to edit the html files that LR spits out in a web app like GoLive (preferred) or Dreamweaver ?

I haven't pulled a Lightroom gallery apart recently, but you can certainly do it by hand using a text editor if you know even the vaguest amount of HTML. Something like TacoHTML will give you a preview of the result.

I haven't got time to run a gallery at the moment, but have you put one online already? I'll take a quick look if you like.

If you are only editing LR galleries then it may not be worth it to you to update, but the latest version of Dreamweaver handles them fine.

This is an example of what I would like the Web module to offer in terms of
adding a color to a cel and a comment, the example page was from Expression Media
( formerly known as iView Multimedia ) which I in turn added the cel colors and the comments
in Golive, I would love to be able to do it in LR without having to use another app.

Maybe someday, with more maturity of the Application. it is still on only 1.3.1 with lots more to go. Some would think this minor next to Soft proofing, more speed, better keywording, etc.

TTG Slimbox Gallery 2.22

The current version of my TTG Slimbox Gallery supports color labeling and ratings, though you need to set them up in IPTC data in the Library module. See the instructions on the download page on how to do that. No external editing necessary.
