Is it possible to import and edit Google's motion photos in Lr?

I'm just getting the single image when I import them.

I’d say no without knowing the file format. Unless it is one of the Lightroom accepted video format, you are not going to get video

The list of acceptable file formats for Lightroom is found at Adobe
