editing captions in slideshows

I have a client who generates slideshows with captions and sends them to me to mount on his website. Sometimes he makes mistakes on the captions. Is there any way I can edit his captions on the images in a slideshow? I tried opening the images folder (slideshow>bin>images>large) in Library mode, but the captions were not there.

Pew, welcome to LR Forums. You'll note I moved your post from Tips and Trick, because it really wasn't either of those.

In what format are you receiving the Slideshow. PDF? JPEG? If PDF, I assume a PDF editor like Acrobat could make the changes. For JPEG, I expect the captions are already baked into the pixels, and would have to be edited as pixel graphics.
