edited in PS, saved, and now not in LR

I have images on an external drive that I made...3 family portrait sessions. They are all saved upoaded on my MBP into LR as RAW on an external Lacie Drive. Brought drive back home and imprted images into my macpro and LR on on this computer. Same RAW images, no editing.
NOW when I go to edit an images in CS4 and save it IT DOES NOT APPEAR IN LR but it is on the external lacie drive. HELP!

Hi prevacidman

I believe if you are editing the images external to Lightroom you will have to simply synchronise the folder containing the photoshop edited images - within Lightroom. Alternatively you can edit the images from within lightroom. Right click on image, select edit in photoshop. Any edits you then make are automatically reimported back into a new tiff or psd into LR.
