I'm using LR2. I am trying to edit photos in the Develop Module and when I right click and chose "Edit in" all of my options are greyed out.

Am I working in the wrong module, I've only had LR2 for a week and modules are a new concept for me, did I not link my Photoshop Elements 2 to LR2? I also use ACDSee 5.

I have been going out of the program editing my photos and then importing them back in. Problem is now my file name has changed (me, I'm doing that) and the photos are out of order (wedding).

Thanks,

Lorrir

Lorrir, I'm not sure PSE2 is current enough for the automatic link. Have you configured PSE and ACDSee as 'additional external editors' in the Edit > Preferences settings?

BTW, welcome to the Forums.

In the Library module, you should be able to tell Lightroom to sort the photos by the photo capture time (either ascending or descending order), so the file name won't matter if you set it up that way.

Thanks Paige,

That would work, but I busted out of the wedding flow and took shots of the venue and invitations and what not that I want to insert in the slide show to create a transition. Like from the ceremony to the reception. The day was really misearble and raining, I got some really cool shots of rain out a window that I wanted to add to the intro, Problem is I shot them here and there through out the day.
