Edit Capture Time should allow finer adjustment than just integer hours.

Allow Metadata/Edit Capture Time so that it can adjust/shift the time of a selected set of photos by any number of days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Currently LR 1.x and 2.' beta can adjust the time only integer hours.

I often use other freeware programs (e.g. XnView) when photo's are taken with different cameras with slightly different clock settings, usually just a few minutes, so that the photo's, when sorted on date/time taken, show in the proper order.

It's not entirely obvious, but you can shift by minutes and seconds in LR too. You just have to use 'Adjust to a specified date and time' - that'll shift the time of those most selected image to that time, and shift everything else by the same difference.

Feature request is still valid

I agree there is a workaround, but I think the feature request still stands. The main reason for the adjust time feature being present is to correct timezone related issues. Various countries have timezones that may vary by 1/2hr (e.g. time in Adelaide is half an hour behind time in Sydney) so adjusting by hours doesn't meet the requirement I believe it was designed to address.

I'll be submitting a feature request form to Adobe to this effect.

Good plan Matt, although I wouldn't expect it too soon, as there is a way of doing it at the moment, using the Adjust to Specified Date and Time.

Hi Victoria,

I've been through this dance before with a number of companies so I don't expect this change soon because there is a work around. In fact I don't want it soon because I'd rather they work on some of my other feature requests first! I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up as a LR3 enhancement.
