I finally managed to get my laptop to connect to my old 19" monitor for photos. It looks SOOOOOO much better!

Unfortunately, there seems to be some strange behaviour with the 2nd monitor in Loupe mode. When I scroll through all landscape or all portrait photos, there is a strip along the bottom of the photo that is 'sticky' and doesn't change with the new photo. As soon as it changes from landscape to portrait or back, the problem goes away - for 1 photo. The photo on Screen 1 looks fine.

I don't think that it is the monitor, because the menus at top and bottom are not affected at all, but I'm open to suggestions!

Thanks

Sean.

Out of curiosity, (don't know if it matters) are both displays set at the same resolution?
If not, do different rez settings for the 2nd monitor affect the issue?

Sounds like a video card / driver issue. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your laptop and that it is capable of driving a 19" screen at the resolution you are using. you may laso find a specific driver for the monitor and that may help.
