Yes indeed....very quiet since last night.

It had been increasingly / unusually quiet for the last week or two.

I sometimes sense a new release creates a surge which then fades over time. It is also peak holiday season.

The peak around release is normal. A couple of posts in 24 hours makes me think something is wrong! (And many thanks to @RikkFlohr for picking it up!)

Not unexpected for me. I support a computer club in my community in Arizona, US. We run what we call Open Lab/Help sessions during the week. Mid July through end of Aug are usually the quietest for us. Many local folks take vacations involving travel at this time. It picks back up in Sept here when people return. It picks up again when wintertime residents start returning in Nov and Dec.
However, we expect it to pick up big time come Oct when Microsoft support officially ends for Windows 10. Our residents have already started asking about it, with questions like "what new computer should I buy". Then, with new hardware comes new questions.
I suspect it will be the same for you and this forum, and if a new computer & OS is coupled with a new major LR release -- hang on for all the questions.
