Welcome to all other members, New and Old.

I'll start this off.

My name is likely already known to most of you if you have been to either the Original Adobe Lab Lightroom Beta Fora or the current Adobe Photoshop Lightroom User to User Forum.

I, along with many another Guru here and other's at the UtoU and earlier Beta have been heavily involved in answering questions and helping out. Some, like Sean McCormack and Richard Earney along with Sid Jervis (not yet on this Board), also set-up their own Lightroom Websites with lots of help for early LR Users before Adobe could play catch-up and get a FAQ listed and other big names got books and websites out.

I am actually an Exhibit Builder at a Wildlife and Natural History Museum called the EcoTarium. I am otherwise an Amateur Photographer of Nature, Architecture, LAndscape, Oddities, People (not portraits), etc.

I love the International Community that has grown around LR and the new Friends I am making form all over.

Wow, the EcoTarium looks really wonderful. I have a 6 year old who loves the natural world. We're in Southern New Hampshire and will be traveling down to New Jersey this weekend ... perhaps we'll swing over on our way down 495. :-)
 
You do that! This coming Saturday is Pumpkin Fest. I'll only be there in the evening though, at the Train Station.

Wow! I missed the train when I first went on the site! This kid is all about dinosaurs (animals in general), trucks and trains!

I'd never heard of it before either. I'm glad to know about it. We'd most likely hit it early on our way down, but if its a hit I'm sure we'll be back.

Sorry we'll miss you this time. :-)

Sadly due to the pouring rain and a late start we didn't get to stop over on our way past that day. :(

It would probably be a better day trip unto itself anyway. So, hopefully we'll get there yet.
 
I'm normally there Tuesday - Friday. We're closed to the public on Mondays.

A new Exhibit on the Dinosaur Trackways in the Connecticut Valley (Museum in Rockyhill, CT) opens the day after Thanksgiving. I won't be here that day (I hope) because I will ahve worked many extra days to get that exhibit in.

That exhibit sounds great! Have you ever worked with the Montshire Museum in Norwich, VT?

That is a wonderful hands on science museum. My son calls it "the bee museum" because one exhibit is a live honey bee hive with clear plexiglas walls on the inside of the building that connects to the outside via a clear tube. Neat stuff.
 
They are/were part of our consortium of Museums developing these traveling Exhibits, Starting with Turtle Travels.

I have not worked directly with them, myself. Other Museums in the group are Echo in Burlington, Vt; Museum of Science in Portland, Me and one in Quebec Prov.
