Do I Need to Install LR 6 from DVD before upgrading to 6.14?

For various reasons I've decided to stick with perpetual license and so I recently ordered the LR 6 DVD from B&H. My question is when installing LR to my 2017 iMac running High Sierra 10.13 do I first need to install from the DVD and then download LR 6.14 from the Adobe website or can I skip the earlier version on the DVD and just download the 6.14 version?

Just download 6.14 and use the serial number furnished with the DVD. If you purchased LR 6 as an upgrade, you'll also need the serial number from whatever version you're currently running.
