Hello, all—

This may not be of the LR universe, but I'm asking anyway in case someone has a suggestion or lead for more info.

Using iMovie, I created a very quick QT movie using one of my stills, which, along with my stills, I want to show prospects, clients. LR won't import it so I assume it doesn't support that file format (which I wouldn't expect it too, I suppose).

And I guess that means I can't include it in the Gallery that I created in LR and uploaded, right?

Does anyone out there know how to display a QT (or other file type) movie online, preferably in a Gallery format? Do I actually have to code a page/site and use a link?

Do I need to purchase a more robust online gallery option, such as LiveBooks, to use in conjunction with my LR catalog and other file formats?

Any ideas?

Again, I apologize for being slightly off the LR trail with this one.

Thanks!

(Using 24-inch iMac 2.8 mhz, OS 1'.5.4, Canons 2'D, 5D, 1Ds. LR 2.' from 1.4.1. and, hopefully, my noggin.)

LR does not support these files as its premise is as a photography management tool.

RAW, DNG, Tiff, PSD, Jpeg. ....thats about it.

Much debate about this on the u2u forums.

LiveBooks is pretty expensive, isn't it?

Anyway, you should take a good look at SlideShowPro for Lightroom because for $29 it can display pictures or video and audio. You would generate a Lightroom web gallery, and it's then pretty easy to edit the xml file output in a text editor, pointing it to your movie. Not sure about QuickTime, but it certainly displays Flash video.

John! Thank you for your info. That's what I'm looking for. LBks is very expensive and I figure there's a way to do it ourselves if someone else can do it.

I appreciate it and will immediately search for SlideShowPro.

Thanks so much.
