Hello Everyone,

First time posting here. My name is John, I just started using lightroom recently and I downloaded Nik Dfine to remove noise from some photos I took at a wedding. I have two questions.

1. When in my workflow do you think I should remove noise. I notice that the file that gets saved back into Lightroom is a .tif not a .dng (I convert all of my raw images to .dng on import). I am concerned that I will not have as much flexibility in processing with lightroom when working on a .tif.

2. Can I save the file back in Lightroom as a .dng?

Thanks!
John

Hi John and welcome.Tiffs are fine for working with in LR. So you will be ok working with those in that workflow. No you can't save back as DNG anything that has been pixel edited which is what that plug-in does.
