Just occasionally, when I move an image on from the Library module to the Develop module, it presents a black panel. sometimes I can still see the image as a comparison before and after, or a reference view (sometimes both images, sometimes only one part.) I can't seem to make it reappear unless I shut the app down and restart- not very convenient. I have attached a screen grab showing the navigator pane with the edited image and the old image that is supposed to be compared with the edited image (which is blank.)
Any ideas?

Victoria, Thanks for responding to my question. it seems you're right on the money! It's a graphics driver conflict. All good! cheers, mrfuzzy

Where is the response? I just see your 2 posts.

I think that my missing reply was probably one of the posts lost the day the server crashed. I’d spent that afternoon replying to loads of threads and the email notifications went out but it was in between backups!

yes, I got the missing reply as an email, so I was able to action it.
On a seperate issue, my version of lightroom on my mac, (same as on my PC) will not open. It crashes virtually every time try to open it. I'm then asked to send a report to adobe. I'm running latest version of MacOS, on a Mac Book Air (2013) - very frustrating!
Any thoughts?

There's a new version out, so that would be a good place to start.
