I have been using the Perfectly Clear Complete plugin (now at v 3.5) for some time in various versions of LR. where I edit a DNG file in Perfectly Clear, LR creates a TIFF and sends to PClear to be worked on. The edited version of the TIFF is returned to LR in the develop module to be processed further.

The problem is that recently, the TIFF showing in the develop module on return from the plugin is the non-edited version. However when you switch to Library view, the correct edited TIFF is shown.

If I exit LR with the incorrect version showing in the develop module and immediately restart, then the develop module does display the correct version. Which is obviously not a good workflow :)

LR is set up as default - only change is enabling "save changes to XMP" as recommended

Only thing that has changed is that I use the 'copy as DNG' import function from my memory card RAW files and have been getting corruption issues in some DNG copies so have tried various re-imports to test. It corrupts different DNGs each time BTW - could I have damaged something by doing this possibly?

All advice gratefully received - many thanks in advance Malc

If you click on the top item in your History panel does the Tiff update?

Hi Rick many thanks - History is empty - no items to click on
This is interesting though - this time i had to zoom in on the library module to get it to update.
Zoom has no effect on develop version though

How about if you tweak a slider a bit, say Exposure up .1?

Thanks for staying with me
No - sorry no difference except I notice when I go between the two modules, the rendering of the library mode starts in the old version then flashes and correctly displays the updated one.

I know the two modules display previews differently (lots about that on the WWW) but this prob seems very rare - hate for it to beat us but it is using a lot of effort

Are we thinking backup catalog then full removal of LR and Perfectly clear and full new installs now?
