Develop greyscale 'auto' not working

Convert to greyscale

'Auto' greyscale button not working. The word blacked out the same way Saturation and vibrance are when in greyscale mode.

It gets blacked out when it's already been applied.

Try changing the white balance and see if it comes back.

That did the trick, how so?

I have not seen that behaviour before.

Well, when you auto apply, the button greys out. The auto is based on the white balance setting, so moving it will allow a new auto.

As to why it's set? you probably have 'Apply auto grayscale mix' set in the Presets tab of preferences.

no i did not have the 'apply auto....' in the presets set.

thats kinda why i was confused. And i can confirm it is consistantly misbehaving.

Whether i click on greyscale in the Basic OR Color/greyscale tabs, the Auto is blacked out. Note also, the greyscale slider are all set at '.

Now, if i adjust the WB, the Auto is available for choice.

This has to be a bug?
