Develop for Lightroom CC turns an Elgato Stream Deck + into a develop console for Lightroom, the cloud-based desktop app (not Classic). Develop XL for Lightroom CC does the same on the Stream Deck + XL. I'm the developer, so questions and bug reports posted here reach me directly.
It isn't a plug-in in the usual sense, because the cloud app has no plug-in SDK. It uses Lightroom's own external controller API instead: nothing to install inside Lightroom, no keyboard shortcuts to map, and it works whatever language Lightroom is set to. Turn on Preferences > Interface > Enable external controllers, restart Lightroom, and click Pair once.

What it does
- Develop dials: up to three parameters per dial, in the slider's colors. Turn to adjust, press and turn to fine-tune, press to reset. The touch strip shows Lightroom's own slider value.
- Keys with real state: crop, Upright, auto white balance, clipping warnings, AI masks (subject, sky, background), remove tools, copy/paste settings, export. A few (show original, paste to all, panels) send Lightroom's own shortcut, because the API has no command for them.
- Skin: Lightroom's adaptive face-skin preset and a soft-skin recipe in one press, with the mask ready on the dials.
- Lightroom dial: zoom, history (undo/redo) and flag.
- Photo dial: turn to browse, press to flag. The strip shows the photo, its stars and flag.
- The deck follows Lightroom: pick crop, masking or remove and it jumps to that page (optional).
- Stream Deck +: two profiles, Develop (17 pages) and Culling.
- Stream Deck + XL: 36 keys and six dials show a whole develop phase at once, with the seven phases as tabs (Framing, Light, Color, Effects, Detail, Masking, Output) and Lightroom's adaptive portrait presets (skin, eyes, teeth, brows, hair).
- Everything in English and Spanish, and 30 ready-made actions to build your own pages.
Requirements
- Stream Deck + (Develop for Lightroom CC) or Stream Deck + XL (Develop XL for Lightroom CC)
- macOS 13 or later, or Windows 10/11
- Lightroom (cloud) from Creative Cloud, or the Mac App Store on a Mac
- Any Lightroom language: no need to switch Lightroom to English.
- Not compatible with Lightroom Classic
