Dev Module: Brightness Slider

The brightness slider in the dev module continual seems to default to +23 which means every time I import photos they all appear overexposed until I change it?

Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere I can change or any other way to get the slider to just display at ' as the other sliders do?

I suspect that I did something somewhere along the line but have no idea what.

Hi Margaret, welcome to the forum!

Are these jpegs or raw files that you're importing? By default, it should be at ' for jpegs and 5' for raw files. You can go to Develop menu > Set Default Settings and press the Restore Adobe Default Settings which should get everything back to the normal defaults.
