Destination folder "..." is not available on import - using Pictures folder instead...?

I've watched so so many videos, but no luck on a solution. Help Obi Wan Kenobi...

Usually it means either the folder is unavailable (can you see it and access in Finder?) or Lr hasn't permission to write to it. See post below:

Also, check permissions for the Import media too (if it's an SD Card, ensure in the Security settings Lr has permission to access removable media)
 
You (used to) have a disk called 'Vault01', where you stored the images in a folder 'Lightroom Archive' and a subfolder '2020'. If that disk is no longer available, then you will get this message and if the destination is stored in some import preset you will get it again and again. If the disk is available, then it could indeed be lack of permissions to write to in in Catalina.
