I have a number of camera profiles for a camera body I no longer use. They're not causing any problems (other than clutter), but I would like to get rid of them. Can't find any way in LR to delete them, and so far have not found any way to do it outside of LR.

Doug,

I just searched in all the Adobe user information, (in \users\(username)\Appdata\Roaming and I could find no references to Nikon or Canon cameras.

Suggest you post this question in the Lightroom forum on the Adobe website.

Phil,
Thanks for your reply. After I posted this, I continued to search and found that the Camera Profiles (at least those created with the Color Checker Passport Calibration application), have a file type of .dcp. I searched for these and found them in \users\(username)\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles. I deleted one of the unwanted profiles from that directory, restarted Lightroom and it no longer appeared in the list of available profiles. I guess the one caveat would be that if you ever subsequently edited an image where the deleted profile had been applied, it would revert to the default Adobe Standard (although I am not entirely certain of that). Again, thanks for your help.

Default Camera profiles for, e.g. Nikon or Canon camera, are not stored in the user's AppData area on Windows. They can be found in the system's ProgramData>Adobe>CameraRaw>CameraProfiles folder.

User-created Camera Profiles, however, ARE stored in the AppData>Roaming etc. folders that Doug discovered.
