Now that I have LR11 up & running, I assume that the old catalog & catalog data files can be trashed. However, I am a bit confused as to specifically which are the Catalog11 & Catalog11 Data files as opposed to the older versions. I certainly do not want to trash the wrong ones. I would appreciate your help. Thank you kindly.

a) I personally think it's too early to trash the older catalog....archive it if needed, but not trash it yet.
b) The version 11 catalogs will helpfully have "-v11" added to the catalog name (and all the associated catalog files), so it should be very easy to avoid making a mistake.

Thank you, Jim, for confirming this for me. And I agree that keeping the old catalog would be prudent until LR11 proves to be trouble-free.

Best Regards.

And, BTW, after upgrade only the catalog file (the .lrcat) is duplicated. All folders are renamed according to the name of the new catalog.
