Deleting items in Recents

Lightroom Version Number: LR 8

Operating System

macOS 10.14 Mojave

I am not the prime user of PS. When you open PS, it show "recents". How do you remove these items permanently?

The menu does not look exactly like your picture, but it got me to the correct place. Thanks very much.
