Deleted photos still on computer?

Hi there!

I hope someone can help! I have deleted photos from LR and used the delete from discs as well, so the photos are no longer in LR and no longer on my computer in the original location. Though, there is a folder on my computer that is labeled 2''8. In that folder are the photos that are currently still in LR, as well as, some of the photos that I had deleted. They are subdivided like LR has them in the catalog. Is there a reason why some of those photos are still there? Can I just manually delete them out of that folder?
I would greatly appreciate any help!! Thanks so much!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Welcome to the forum.

If you don't want them anymore, you could just manually delete them from the folder. It's possible that when you deleted the files from your LR catalog, you accidentally chose not to send them to the recycle bin too, or perhaps another program was accessing them at the time and Lightroom didn't have permission to delete them. Check your folder permissions perhaps?
