Not sure if this is available in LR2 Beta, as haven't brought myself to have a go yet, but in 1.4.1 there is no ability to select multiple folders from within the folders panel and remove them from the library.
I keep each shoot's rawimages in a folder structure: imagedir\yyyy\yyyy-mm-dd title\raw and final JPG images in a folder called final at the same level E.g. imagedir\yyyy\yyyy-mm-dd title\final
During a recent import I ended up with the final directories containing the jpgs by accident and wanted to remove them from the library, so I filtered for just JPGs and removed these easily enough, but was left with all the final folders still there, which I wanted to remove, so Ctrl-clicked each to select multiple folders and right-clicked the first and selected delete to find it only deleted the first folder from the library. I then had to individually do this for each folder to get rid of them.
Another great feature would be to be able to select images and move these to a different path in the library (moving the to another drive for instance) whilst retaining/moving their directory structure. The only way I have found to do this is to manually create the directory structure then drag/drop the individual images, or alternatively from within the file system, move the folders manually, then within LR, re-point the broken links to the new directory location (found this to be the best way). It's a pity you can't do this from within LR easily. Is this worthy of a feature request?
Thanks, Paul
