"Date/Time Original" - metadata error

Hi folks. I'm doing some metadata cleanup on one of my libraries - keyword cleanup mostly - and I've noticed several bunches of photos that show the exact same "Date Time Original" and "Date Time Digitized" in the metadata panel of the loupe view. The photos certainly weren't made at the same instant, although they are from the same shoots. It's not a huge issue since I don't use the capture date/time for much other than curiosity and matching photos to timeframes, but I thought it was weird that so many photos would have corrupted capture dates.

I convert RAW images to DNG and copy to my file system on import - like i said, most of my photos are just fine, but there are at least 3 distinct groupings that display the metadata anomaly.

Anyone have any experience with this, or thoughts?

Your profile says Lr 1.', is that correct? If not, have you been using Lr for several past versions?

There was a bug sometime ago, I forget what major version, let alone the dot version, where the DNG converter incorrectly stuck the DNG conversion time into one of the 'original' times. Since this was quickly corrected, could this explain what you're seeing in just a subset of your images?
