Dark images when "editing" in Photoshop after 10.9.3 update

I have a problem, after the 10.9.3 update (combo).


After having done some corrections in LR 5.4, when I "Edit in Photoshop CC" the image opened in Photoshop does not absolutely correspond to the one in LR: it is a lot darker.
Brushes, spot removal, gradients are applied/exported correctly but the image looks like 1 stop down in exposure


I have tried “Edit in Photoshop” using the different file formats, psd, tiff, jpeg, 16 and 8 bits
I always get the same bad result.


If I "Export" as psd (or any other file format) it is okay.


I have tried then to open directly the raw (nef from Nikon D610) from photoshop.
In the camera raw window all the settings (loaded from the .xmp file created by LR) are the same that in LR.
But once opened the photo in Photoshop I still get a very darker image.


This let me think that the issue is more a Camera Raw one that a Lightroom one.

I'm not a Photoshop expert, but...

It could be that your Photoshop Color Settings are set wrong. I've read that one should set them to 'Preserve Embedded Profiles':

Thank you for the answer.
Unfortunately it is not this, my color setting are synchronized for all my Adobe applications and my Color Management Policies are set like your in the Photoshop Color Setting.

It's a mystery. You say the exported images look OK. What happens when you open one of them in Photoshop? Does it still look OK?

Yes, I meant that they are okay when I open them in Photoshop.

Can we see your settings on the External Editing tab of the Lightroom Preferences?

Here it is.
They are the same settings that I used for years.
And I have never change nothing.

But I repeat, as there is the same problem opening the file in Photoshop with Camera Raw I think that the problem is not a Lightroom one but a camera raw one.

I have made other tests.
If I "Edit in Photoshop…" a tiff, a jpg or a psd there are not problem
If I open a raw from the Nikon D300 using "Edit in Photoshop…" the image seen in Photoshop is as it should be.

So I think that there is some issue D610 NEF + Camera Raw + Os X 10.9.3

Edit:
As I felt some issue with Camera Raw 8.4 I have reinstalled it.
Maybe it is too much soon to say it but now all seems to be working as before…
