D700 - first imports

I've just acquired a new Nikon D7'' and I shot about 5' test shots this afternoon. The first import of images is labeled, in the dialogue box, Nikon D2''. I used that button to download and the download itself went successfully. I have a D2'', which has been my principal camera body until I purchased this D7''. The most recent import I've done (two days ago) was from my Canon S4'.

Should not the LR import dialogue recognize my D7''? Will LR "think" that my images are from a D2'' and provide just those camera profiles for development?

LR is seeing the folder on the CF card. You must reformat the card in the D7'' before using it. The camera profiles will be fine, LR will use the correct profile based on the NEF exif data.
